Sands Resort Hotel

	We think about it At Sands we try to think of every family holiday need and then set out to provide for them. Whilst many hotels declare themselves child friendly, at Sands we can really live up to that statement, with unrivalled facilities and services to make your children happy and you give you the relaxation you need as a parent.
	Lots of food choices Buffet style breakfast, snack bar for lunch, children's high tea and at dinner an option for eating with or without your children. Loads of choice and really friendly staff make meal times as stress free as possible.
	Proper family rooms The majority of our rooms are suites with separate children's sleeping areas. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with kettle, chill box, baby listening monitor and TV. In contemporary suites there are additionally an iron, DVD player in kids area, flat screen TV with Sony playstation and King size bed.
	Free sports facilities Complimentary sports facilities and play areas for all ages on site give your children plenty to do and off site there are 2 beach adventure centres only minutes away. Our 'Surf Shack' has wetsuits and boards for all ages and there are also indoor and opening in July our new outdoor splash and kids fun pools.
	Children's Clubs and entertainment Our children's clubs are OFSTED inspected and most summer evenings there is pre-dinner entertainment for under 8's. We also have regular visits and talks from the Zoo and Aquarium.
	Loads to do Maze and Adventure play Bouncy castle Croquet, Tennis and Basketball Skittles and Climbing wall Golf and table tennis FREE child places Apply out of season. Free places are for the youngest child under 7

Baby Sitting and Listening
Each room has a baby listening device in the childrens sleeping area. We have a staff member who listens in between 7.00 and 11.00 each evening. You book your child in then keep us up to date as to where you are.
if your child needs you we come and get you.

We do not offer babysitting as a service, however if we have staff off duty we are happy to put them in touch with you and you may pay them direct.

Childrens clubs

Our children’s clubs run 3 sessions daily (Closed Sunday mornings)
8.45am to 11.00am, 11.15 to 12.30 and 7.15pm to 9.15pm.

NIPPERS (ratio 1:3) 1 year and under. Babies may be changed but we don’t offer a feeding service.
8.45am – 11.00am £8.00
11.15am – 12.30pm £5.00
7.15pm – 9.15pm £8.00

PIRATES (ratio 1:4) 2 & 3 years.
8.45am – 11.00am £8.00
11.15am – 12.300pm £5.00
7.15pm – 9.15pm £8.00

ADVENTURE CLUB (ratio 1:8) 4 to 7 years.
8.45am – 11.00am £6.00
11.15am – 12.30pm £4.00
Some days Hobby class run11.30 - 12.30 instead of  11.15 club session
7.15pm – 9.15pm £6.00

O-ZONE CLUB (organised activities) 8 to 12 years running between 9.00am and 12.30pm Numbers permitting. Some days Hobby class may replace club 11.30 to 12.30
This club runs only in school holidays and is a timetable of games, competitions and events. There is no charge.

13 YEARS AND OLDER
There are complimentary sports facilities and play areas for this age group.

PLEASE NOTE WE CANNOT GUARANTEE SPACES FOR CHILDREN IN ALL CLUBS. NO BOOKING BEFORE ARRIVAL IS ALLOWED.

TERMS. Our clubs are designed to give parents a break whilst on the resort; you must remain on hotel ground when children are in club.
Our clubs cannot be booked in advance and once booked will be charged to your room and cannot be cancelled.
Our clubs are age banded for safety and we stick strictly to these age groups.
We do not cater for children who are distressed without parents or for children who have been ill within the past 48 hours.
