The Cornish Arms Beer and Mussel Festival
Rick Stein and Jill Stein’s pub The Cornish Arms in St Merryn, Cornwall will be hosting their third annual Beer & Mussel Festival. The event will showcase 28 of the finest Cornish and British beers and ciders, as well as a variety of mussel dishes . There will be live music playing throughout the weekend, stand up comedy, cookery demonstrations and entertainment for children. Read more.

Guided tours of Boconnoc House & Grounds
Boconnoc will be opening its doors for guided tours for a number of dates in 2014 to all those interested in learning the fascinating history of this beautiful estate and to explore the house and gardens. Boconnoc is the largest park in Cornwall with history dating back to Domesday. During the tour you will discover the colourful history including the story of how Boconnoc was bought in 1717 with the proceeds of the Pitt Diamond, by Thomas Pitt, once Governor of Madras.
