After a sunny and beautiful day, it’s now raining cats and dogs but we can hear happy laughter of kids playing air hockey in our games room and toddlers babbling on their way to the children club.
There is lots to do at Sands on a rainy day. Newquay Zoo and the Blue Reef Aquarium come in on a regular basis and during the summer holidays we have a Summer Holiday Programme packed with exciting activities for children and parents.
Many of our guests spend half a day at the hotel and the other half exploring Cornwall. Here are some more ideas from the Sands Team on what to do on a rainy day in Cornwall.
