After many weeks of uncertainty and missing the happy laughter of guests enjoying our facilities, we're now open again.
At Sands Resort, we are very fortunate to have plenty of indoor and outdoor space; ideal for social distancing and being able to enjoy your holidays worry free.
Additionally, we have closed a third of our rooms to reduce pressure on facilities.
We have put a number of measures in place to make you feel safe and relaxed during your stay and are hoping for your cooperation and support during this challenging time. #inittogether

Yes, we have to be careful, but you still want to have some fun!!
We are informed that the purpose of the VAT reduction is to bolster the finances of the hospitality sector to ensure businesses survive and continue to provide work for employees, unfortunately not to provide reduced price holidays.
In addition to the huge losses we have made over the 16 week enforced shutdown we have been faced with tens of thousands of pounds of extra expenses to make the property covid safe. We are also heading into a long winter with survival in doubt. The additional income we will receive from the VAT reduction is to help that survival and to maintain employment.
Whilst it would have been nice to pass this reduction onto guests this would have defeated the purpose of the cuts which is about survival and employment.
Accordingly, our rates will not change and we will not be offering any discounts on holidays.
However, we are looking into the half price meal voucher scheme which will benefit customers directly.
Our enhanced cancellation scheme rules still apply allowing free cancellation up until 3 weeks before arrival.
