Terms & conditions for guests visiting Ocean Breeze Spa or the Moroc Spa

Placing your booking
Please contact the hotel’s reservation team on 01637 872864 or alternatively send an email to If you would like to know more about a particular treatment we will be happy to advise you on what best suits your needs. Visitors to the spa who are younger than 16 have to be supervised. Some treatments are only suitable for adults i.e. massages. A 50% deposit will be taken at the time of booking. The Moroc Spa Experience has to be paid in full at the time of booking unless you are booking for a group of 8 or more people, in which case you will pay a 50% deposit and the balance in full 7 before your event. 

Clients are kindly asked to give at least 24 hours’ notice of a cancellation. Cancellations made within 24 hours of an appointment will incur a charge equal to 50% of the treatment cost. Cancellations must be made in person or by e-mail when a cancellation receipt will be issued. In the event of a disputed cancellation, this receipt must be produced to prove cancellation time and date. No refund will be made without it. All treatments must be paid for at the spa and cannot be charged to hotel accounts.

Group bookings
Group bookings have to be paid in full a week before the event. Bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to 7 days before the appointment. After that we charge 50% of the total.

Late arrivals
Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment as late arrivals cannot have bookings extended and will be charged in full. Unpaid accounts will be charged to your credit/debit card.

Health concerns
Please inform us at the time of booking if you have any medical conditions which may affect or prevent your treatment or the use of the hot tub or heat room. If you have any concerns or can answer any of the following questions with ‘yes’, please consult your doctor before your visit.

Have you had any recent surgery within the last 12 months?
Do you have any past injuries which could affect treatment?
Are you taking any medication or under a doctor’s care?
Are you Diabetic or Epileptic?
Do you have any allergies?
Are you Pregnant/Breastfeeding/Undergoing IVF?
Do you have High/Low Blood Pressure?
Do you suffer from asthma?
Do you suffer from back pains / previous injury?

During pregnancy
For expectant mothers we recommend that you do not use the steam room, hot tub or heat room A 
range of treatments are available following the first three months of pregnancy and a scan.

Use of the pool & spa facilities
If the use of the pool and steam room is not included in the spa treatments or package you have booked, you can add those at an additional charge of £6.50. All spa packages booked for the Ocean Breeze Spa include the use of our relaxation room, refreshments. The pool is not exclusively for spa guests, but is shared with hotel guests and can be very busy with families during school holidays.

The pool doesn’t have a lifeguard and you swim at your own risk. All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Guests under the age of 18 are not permitted to use the steam room or the Moroc Spa Garden.
