Fun on the Beach

With so many family friendly beaches in nearby all you need to keep the kids busy and happy is a bucket and spade or a fishing net. There is so much to discover and Porth Beach has a shallow, little river that runs along the beach, ideal for crab fishing. Run wild on the beach, play football or build a sandcastle with your children. Hours of fun.

In and around Newquay

The boating lake in Newquay is a great place to visit with toddlers. Your little one can feed the ducks and have fun on the playground. The lake is also only a short walk away from Newquay Zoo and the Little Western Railway, Newquay’s Miniature Railway.

If you would like to go on a tour around town, take the Newquay Land Train from the Zoo. It is great fun and provides an alternative open air train service around Newquay, stopping at all major attractions where you can hop on and hop off. The Blue Reef Aquarium is always a great place to visit with children of any age and DairyLand Farmworld, just 10 minutes outside of Newquay is a must if your children like animals.

…and a little further afield

And that’s not all there are many more things to do in Cornwall with a baby or toddler.
